The boys and i had our first weekend trip together this weekend. We headed out on Thursday to Baltimore Inner Harbor for the O's Opening Day and the Aquarium. On Friday, we began the day with a swim in the indoor pool (a must on any overnight hotel outing) and then headed to ESPN Zone for pre-game fun. The boys munched on burgers, played some games, and had a blast. Then we headed to the ballpark. It was AWESOME. The game was great until Gonzalez blew our one-point lead in the top of the ninth, but that's the way it goes. We headed back for more swimming, pizza and wings. It was a great day.
On Saturday we hit the Aquarium and Hard Rock Cafe. The boys were still super tired from the day before, so while Parker was enthralled with all of the exhibits at the Aquarium, Greyson was ready to go from the time we entered the door. Thank goodness I didn't ask my mom to buy Dolphin show tickets!
After one last meal in the Inner Harbor, we headed to Marshall to see my Aunt Lynette and a ton of family. My cousins were there and all of the kids. When I say they ran around playing for six hours, I'm not kidding. It was all I could do to drag them away after 7 p.m. and make it home before midnight! All in all, it was a great weekend. Now, its back to school.

what a fun (and exhausting) weekend trip for sure! i'm sure it was amazing to be there for the opening game and all the spectactular sights - what fun for all of you!
