Last weekend, after a fun birthday party for Kelly at Kangaroo Jac's, we headed back to the house for a little fun. The boys pulled out the sprinkler and ran around the yard for a while. It was a fantastically warm day, and they had a blast finally being able to enjoy some pre-summer fun.
The next day, we headed to the beach. We took Scooby (because Kevin was on shift), and we all had fun! The sun was hot, the water was cool but not too cold, and Scooby was in heaven!!! Last summer, he sunk like a rock in the pool, but in the ocean he was the quintessential water dog!!! The boys dug in the sand and rode Scooby in as he paddled to shore. After some fun in the sun, we ended the day celebrating Maddy Anne's first birthday with the Ratz family and our other dear friends from church. What a great day!

good grief - look how big scooby has gotten!!!! the water was definitely the place to be last weekend - it was just sooo hot!
Oh Scooby in the water...now that's a HOOT!! :) And sweet Melia....what a priceless heart she has!! What fun days in the sunshine...if only they would join us again!! :)
