Today happens to be Greyson's real birthday. The big 7. Goodness, where has the time gone?!?!? As is what often happens, Kevin happened to be in shift today, so we headed up to the station to open presents with him.
Greyson was thrilled with his Ipod and Ipod Speaker dock for his room. He has been begging for one for months, and now he finally has one!!! We spent the evening picking out music to download, and low and behold, he has filled his Ipod with almost 95% Christian music. He really loves the rock/emo sounding music, but as long as the lyrics are good and meaningful, I can handle the genre of music.
I know, he is a little young. But, he is my "techy" child. He loves gadgets. And, as with all things, moderation is the key. NO headphones in the car or at the table. NO Ipod or Nintendo time until it is earned with extra reading or math. Never hurts to have a little incentive!

Happy Birthday Greyson! I love my ipod and dock, too! So, does Bradley in fact. He asked a guy on the plane next to us if he could use his ipod? What in the world??? He is 2 for goodness sake! Greyson enjoy that music! Natalie, good for you for making the music such a reward!
How fun!!! Greyson has a better IPOD than me now! It's amazing how much more techsavvy our kids are!!!
Maybe Greyson can show me how to download some music on my ipod!
Natalie, SERIOUSLY....you have the most GORGEOUS MEN!!! Between their skateboards, Ipods, fire hats, etc....look at what you get to live with the rest of your life--it doesn't get any better than this!! :) I love you all!
